Body recovered after deadly gold mine landslide in Solomon Islands

A body has been recovered following a landslide at a gold mine on Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands .
The incident occurred on Monday at an open-pit mine, with the body of Ashley Olo found on Tuesday. Officials did not specify whether he was a mine worker.
Police are continuing search operations and said it remains unclear if further individuals are buried.
Prime Minister Matthew Wale told reporters on Monday that the cause of the collapse is currently unknown.
The mine’s owners, Wanguo Gold Group Ltd, said on Monday that no employees were hurt or missing and operations at the mine had resumed.
