Workers were horrified to find "body parts" in a skip at a recycling plant today.

The human remains were found at Skelton Skips in Leeds, West Yorkshire on Monday just before 10am.

Forensic officers were seen at the site of the recycling plant working up until the evening.

West Yorkshire Police are investigating the circumstances.

One worker who did not want to be named told The Sun : "As far as I know body parts have been found in one of the skips.

“Obviously, once it was spotted the police were immediately called. It’s very disturbing and shocking and sad and scary.”
