A man's body was found in a Liverpool house after police were called to the property on Friday morning.
Merseyside Police today said the man, in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the house on Belvidere Road, Toxteth after they were called at around 8.45am.
Officers are currently treating the death as "unexplained", a spokesperson said.
They added: "We are in the process of formally identifying him and informing his next of kin.
"His death is currently being treated as unexplained, although it is not thought to be suspicious.
"A post-mortem will be conducted to establish the cause of death."
