Body of man found in West Lothian as cops probe mystery death

Police have launched a probe after the body of a man was found in West Lothian.

The 31-year-old was discovered in a property in Glendevon Park, Winchburgh, around midday on Tuesday January 12.

Officers cordoned off the scene following the grim find.

Police Scotland are treating the death as unexplained, with an investigation launched to establish the circumstances.

A spokesperson said: "Officers were called around 12.04pm on Tuesday, 12 January, 2021, following the sudden death of a 31-year-old man at a property in Glendevon Park, Winchburgh.

"Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death, which is currently being treated as unexplained, are continuing.

"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
