Police in Renfrewshire recovered the body of a man from a river in Bridge of Weir this morning.
Officers discovered the 59-year-old in the water near to Torr Road in the village around 6.25am .
A probe has now been launched into the grim find, however, police say there are no suspicious circumstances.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.25am on Thursday, 2 September, the body of a 59-year-old man was recovered from the River Gryffe near to Torr Road.
“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and as with all sudden deaths a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
