The 50-year-old was last seen leaving an address on Hazel Road and heading towards the woodland area at the rear of Fannyside Road.

He was walking his Staffordshire bull terrier dog at the time, which has since been traced.

Police have confirmed that the body of a man was found in a wooded area near Abronhill around 2.55pm on Thursday, December 10.

Scott's family have been made aware of the discovery.
