A man's body was found in a flat in Rutherglen after police were called to the property.
The alarm was raised at around 8:20am on Friday, November 19 as emergency services arrived at the block in Mill Court.
Worried residents reported seeing police and ambulance crews on the street.
The body of a 65-year-old man was found inside.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to the sudden death of a 65-year-old man at an address on Mill Court, Rutherglen around 8.20am on Friday, 19 November.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
