Police searching for missing teenager Rhys Bonner have found a body.
A major search was launched to trace the 19-year-old, who vanished from Balarnark in Glasgow , on Wednesday, July 24.
Officers have since confirmed the tragic news that a body was found this afternoon.
Formal identification is yet to take place but Rhys' family have been informed.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed: "Around midday today officers found the body of a man in marsh ground between Easterhouse and Gartloch Village.
"Formal identity has yet to take place, however the family of Rhys Bonner, 19, who had been reported missing from the Barlarnark area, has been informed.
"A post-mortem will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death, which is unexplained at this time."
