Body discovered in Glasgow as cops search for woman's family

Police are searching for a Scots family after discovering a body in Glasgow.

Wynne Stewart was found dead at home in the Milton area on Wednesday.

The 47-year-old was within her home at Castlebay Drive when the cops raised the alarm.

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.

Now officers are looking for her family including a possible younger brother in Glasgow.

Cops are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.

Police Scotland said: " We are appealing for the assistance of the public in tracing relatives of a 47 year old female, namely Wynne Stewart, who was found dead within her home at Castlebay Drive in the Milton area of Glasgow on 23rd June 2021.

"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.

"Wynne is thought to have a younger brother called Muir Stewart who may reside in the Glasgow area.

"Anyone who has knowledge of Wynne's relatives is asked to contact the Administration Department at London Road Police Office via 101 during office hours Monday to Friday or email GreaterGlasgowDASU@scotland.pnn.police.uk."
