Bobby Madden Rangers display branded 'farcical' by Motherwell director in shock Twitter rant

Motherwell director Andrew Wilson has blasted referee Bobby Madden on Twitter after Rangers were awarded two penalties at Fir Park.

The Steelmen were penalised twice for handball in the box as the whistler pointed to the spot in the 5-1 rout in Lanarkshire.

In a series of scathing comments, 'Well director and former SNP MSP Wilson first pointed to "two penalties denied for us" for fouls on Tony Watt and Allan Campbell.

After the man in the middle once again award a handball, Wilson took to social media adding: "Farcical decision by Bobby Madden.

"Two pens to Rangers neither strong but second just ludicrous."

When responding to a tweet about Madden's performance, he continued the damning verdict: "He has certainly been the most dangerous player on the field for Motherwell to cope with and strong in defence also."

Wilson had previously been on the club's board between 2010 and 2015 before rejoining in March this year.
