The Balochistan National Party (BNP) has launched widespread protests across Quetta and other parts of Balochistan, accusing state security forces of escalating repression, including enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings.

The demonstrations were triggered by a reported security operation at the residence of senior BNP leader Sardar Naseer Ahmed Musiyani in Zehri.
BNP Central Senior Vice President Sajid Tareen Advocate said the raid took place after an armed clash between Baloch fighters and Pakistani forces in the Balbal area of Zehri.
Forces later arrived at Sardar Naseer’s house in 10 to 12 vehicles and took him away along with his sons, as per The Balochistan Post report.
The raid allegedly resulted in the deaths of his son, Khaleel Musiyani, and Umair Sumalani, while several family members were detained, ANI cited in its report.
Allegations of enforced dis appearances and killings
BNP activists, supporters, and senior party leaders gathered outside the Quetta Press Club and other locations, on Saturday condemning what they described as a continuing pattern of human rights violations in the province.
Party representatives claimed that security personnel stormed Musiyani’s residence, assaulted family members, killed Khaleel Musiyani, and took several relatives and associates into custody.
They said such incidents reflect a broader pattern of state repression in the region.
Political criticism of government and ongoing tensions
BNP leaders called for a transparent and independent investigation into the deaths. They demanded accountability for those responsible and urged an immediate end to what they described as unlawful detentions and targeted violence.
The party reiterated its commitment to democratic and constitutional politics under the leadership of Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal.
Warns of consequences
The BNP warned that if the use of force and retaliatory actions against political leaders and workers were not stopped, the government and relevant institutions would bear responsibility for any public reaction and the situation that followed.

The party announced protests outside press clubs across Balochistan and said it would hold a meeting to decide its next course of action.
