Our brains are fried, our mouses tired, and our fingers feeling a little less than nimble. It's time for a break for the summer for the Cardiff bloggers meet-ups – but don't worry we'll be back in September ready and raring to go again.
The bloggers meet-ups have been a great way to network and share ideas and experiences with those experimenting with the medium alongside long standing blogging proficients. So far we've had some great feedback from the sessions (see our write up from the last meeting here) and would welcome any more suggestions in the comments below.
As for the first Cardiff Social Media Surgery, which took place in June, this was a great success - allowing those from the Cardiff bloggers network to share their social media know-how with those from the voluntary sector looking to start out on the web. Read our report from the surgery here.
Some dates for your diary
The next Cardiff bloggers meet-up will be on Wednesday 8 September – venue and time to be confirmed but it will most likely be as before (7pm Pica Pica). Watch out for news of this on the blog nearer the time.
The next Cardiff Social Media Surgery will be on Tuesday 28 September from 5-7pm – again await for venue confirmation nearer the time but this is likely to be once more at The Plan – you can sign up to the event and await further details here.
In the meantime, there are plenty of other events taking place across the city – and any bloggers who want to meet for an informal drink or organise their own meet-ups during the summer break please add a comment below. See you in September!
