Weapon buffs and nerfs

The SG-12 shotgun has been overwhelming recently due to its quick fire rate and high damage potential at mid-range. So, Treyarch nerfed the gun’s damage, effective range, and ADS pellet spread accuracy to prevent easy two-shot kills.
Conversely, the XM325, particularly when used with the Akimbo Titan Wield attachment, has received a buff to its damage against scorestreaks to bring it more in line with the tuning of other LMGs. This is especially useful for countering lethal scorestreaks deployed on the ground, such as the RC-XD, Sentry Turret, and Watchdog Helo.
BO7 Multiplayer and Ranked Play changes

Ranked Play sees some of the most notable changes in BO7 Multiplayer. A new Stay With Team feature lets players in Diamond rank and below automatically form a party with teammates after a match if everyone opts in. Vote-to-forfeit functionality has also been improved, allowing you to start or participate in a vote at any time during a match. Matchmaking has also been adjusted to group Iridescent and Top 250 players together more often to improve competitive integrity.
Several gameplay mechanics were addressed. The Vigilance perk now properly grants immunity to Scrambler after respawning, while the Decoy Grenade has been fixed so its fake footstep audio consistently triggers. Meanwhile, the Hunter Bot can now correctly target the Needle Drone in both manual and automatic modes.
The midseason patch also targets Scorestreak issues. Fixes were implemented for the Deadeye Drone, RC-XD, Sentry Turret, Grim Reaper, Rhino, and SAM Turret.
BO7 Zombies changes

On top of the addition of the new Paradox Junction map, the update in Zombies also focuses on gameplay balance, bug fixes, and stability improvements across maps and modes. On the Astra Malorum map, one of the biggest changes is a balance adjustment to O.S.C.A.R. boss, which now moves slower in higher rounds to give players more breathing room during intense late-game runs. Defeating the boss now also rewards players with a unique Mega Death Machine drop. Meanwhile, Ashes of the Damned received multiple quest and interaction fixes, resolving issues with objectives, trials, and interact prompts that could block progression.
Directed mode now features improved objective panels, while the Cursed mode received numerous fixes for Relic trials. A notable gameplay tweak also adds the Ultra Aether Tool to the Mystery Box once players reach Tier 2 or higher. Survival and Dead Ops Arcade modes mainly received bug fixes and QoL improvements.
Perk-a-Cola augments, GobbleGums, and field upgrades were also fixed to prevent unintended interactions and duplication exploits. The update also includes a wide range of UI, audio, and stability improvements, including new progress bars for Pack-a-Punch camo challenges.
BO7 Endgame changes

The biggest change in Endgame is the Guild Strike rework, which now makes the World Event into a dedicated Activity. You can now locate Guild Strikes directly on the map via a new icon and manually trigger them to spawn a Nightmare Zone, making the event easier to access.
Weapon balance also received a meaningful buff, particularly for Exotic weapons. Their damage multiplier has been increased from 2.5x to 3.5x, boosting their effectiveness during tougher Endgame encounters.
The patch also includes several stability and gameplay fixes. The friendly Guild Bot will no longer get overwhelmed by enemy swarms, and issues that caused the Activity widget to disappear in certain situations have been resolved.
