Astronomers have released incredible footage showing a black hole shooting jets of plasma out into space.
Experts have been left awestruck by the lasso-like motion of the jets and think that V404 Cygni is unlike any other black hole discovered so far.
The centre of the black hole, which is almost 8,000 light years away from Earth, has been compared to a 'wobbling spinning top' because of its peculiar motion.
Associate Professor James Miller-Jones, from Australia's Curtin University, said: "This is one of the most extraordinary black hole systems I’ve ever come across.

Universe is expanding MUCH faster than expected - and scientists are mystified
"Like many black holes, it's feeding on a nearby star, pulling gas away from the star and forming a disk of material that encircles the black hole and spirals towards it under gravity.
"What's different in V404 Cygni is that we think the disk of material and the black hole are misaligned.
"This appears to be causing the inner part of the disk to wobble like a spinning top and fire jets out in different directions as it changes orientation."
Mr Miller-Jones, who has led research into the black hole, said it was first discovered in 1989 when it suddenly released jets of plasma and radiation.
Astronomers then looked back through archive pictures and spotted previous outbursts in 1938 and 1956.
Another two-week explosion of activity took place in 2015, when the centre of the black hole system formed a wobbling doughnut-shaped structure.
Mr Miller-Jones said people immediately aimed their telescopes at the system and observed the outburst.
