1. Retailer sales
2. Brand sales
3. Editors’ top deals
4. Live coverage

We’re into the Black Friday weekend now, but don’t worry—the majority of Black Friday fitness deals are still live.

That includes three of the best discounts I’ve seen so far: cheap Skechers shoes, budget dumbbells, and a discounted Garmin tracker that’s ideal for anyone running a marathon in 2026.

I’ve covered the Black Friday sales event as a fitness editor for the last five years, so I’m well practiced at picking out the best discounts—and flagging things that are actually worth buying if you want to get fit.

You’ll find live coverage of the sales event below, with contributions from me and the rest of the team at Fit&Well.

You heard it here first—Hoka Clifton 10 reduced at Dicks’

I’ve spotted a discount on the Hoka Clifton 10—the most current generation of Hoka’s well-loved shoe and the pair rated as the best Hoka by Fit&Well’s walking shoe supremo Lou Mudge.

Lou’s working on a write-up of the deal right now, but I wanted to share it as early as possible.

Dick’s is selling the women’s Hoka Clifton 10 (wide width) for $111.57. That’s $10 more than Hoka itself is selling the Clifton 9.

In her guide to the best walking shoes, Lou writes: “The best Hoka shoe I’ve ever tested! The Clifton 10 improves on the finest points of the Clifton 9, and is comfortable from the very first step. Well cushioned, lightweight and well-ventilated—making this a great shoe for long walks, and on unforgiving hard surfaces.”

Expert picks from the Gymshark sale

Samatha Cubbins, manager of Gymshark’s Lift Club (Image credit: Gymshark)

You can’t really go wrong with gymwear from Gymshark, but it pays to listen to someone who works out in Gymshark gear, or someone who gets to try on lots of Gymshark clothes. Samatha Cubbins ticks both boxes as manager of Gymshark’s Lift Club.

My colleague Ruth Gaukrodger interviewed her recently and asked for her favorite pieces and all four of them are reduced. Here’s what she picked and why.

Where to buy Optimum Nutrition’s Gold Standard 100% Whey

Aptly named (Image credit: Future)

Black Friday is a great time to make a purchase on those one-off premium purchases. But it’s also a great time to stock up on your regular purchases and save a few bucks in the process. Optimum Nutrition’s Gold Standard Whey is a perennially popular protein powder and, as such, is rarely discounted, so I always look out for deals on it when Black Friday rolls around.

Optimum Nutrition’s Black Friday sale offers 20% off and free shipping with the code ONSAVE20, but it notably excludes the 5lb and 10lb tubs of Gold Standard 100% Whey.

If you’re trying to stock up for less, your best option is Dicks’, which is selling the 5lb tub for $59.99, beating Amazon’s $69.99.

This tried-and-tested weighted jump rope is 25% off

We get to try fitness equipment all-year-round and one item that won contributor Maddy Biddulph over (once she stopped whacking her shins) was Crossrope. The weighted rope adds an extra challenge for your arms, and this connected model counts your skips, teaches you tricks and has hundreds of workouts to follow.

While the AMP set that Maddy tried is reduced on Amazon, the biggest discount is available from Crossrope itself.

Connected exercise bike for less than $200

I’m not one to hate on expensive cardio machines—what you get is often worth the money you spend, but if you have other things to do with the thousands of dollars these cost, you can still get a lot of benefit out of more bare bones purchases. Case in point is this connected exercise bike, recommended by contributor Amber Nelson.

It’s a great buy if you’re dealing with hip pain. We recently covered a study that found indoor cycling is more effective than physio to treat hip pain and the eight-week program the participants followed is available to follow online for free, with the workouts also available on YouTube.

Battle of the bottles

I am an editor of health and fitness websites. Have been for almost a decade. I am well aware that drinking adequate amounts of water is an easy win and yet when I tried a smart water bottle that logged how much I drank, I discovered I didn’t drink nearly enough.

The best way to remedy this is to make sure there’s always water on hand and a stylish water bottle helps you do just that. Two heavy hitters are both reduced for Black Friday on Amazon. Here are the best prices I found. There are slightly less impressive discounts on other colorways.

The Bosu ball transformed her core workouts—and it’s 24% off

Contributor Yanar Alkayat pulled her Bosu ball our from under her couch this summer and rediscovered this underrated piece of kit. While Yanar used it to add a new dimension to her core work, it’s also a great tool for developing your balance—and it’s reduced by 24% on Amazon.

Bala Bangles colorways beginning to sell out

(Image credit: Future / Maddy Biddulph)

Bala Bangles are perhaps the chicest wearable weights you can get on your wrists. They’ve dropped in price by 25% to $41.25 on Amazon—a level they reached in Amazon’s Prime Day sales in 2025. What’s different this time is more colorways are reduced, but that selection is beginning to narrow.

Since we covered the reductions two days ago, the 2lb sage pair has sold out. If you have your eyes on a particular color I wouldn’t hang around.

Loop Switch 2 - 20% off noise management for any occasion

(Image credit: Future / Lou Mudge)

Lou here with an earbud deal.

I tested the Loop Switch 2 recently and was pleased to discover that it can make noisy environments far less overwhelming.

What's more, you can currently get a set for 20% off on Amazon in the Black Friday sale.

What makes them different from Loop's other offerings, or simple reusable earplugs? I hear you ask.

The Switch is a little pricier, but you get three earbuds in one, with the ability to switch between modes depending on the level of noise management you need.

When I'm working, I have mine on the highest setting to help me focus. If I'm at a noisy pub and want to hear my friends speaking, but cut out the background noise, the lower of the two settings works well.

You can also get the Loop Quiet 2 for under $15. Rather than filtering sound, these are designed to block it out, so they are perfect for sleeping or noise-heavy hobbies like motorbiking.

Columbia Konos TRS: get almost 50% off my favorite budget walking shoe

If you want a high-quality shoe for an insanely low price, look no further than the Columbia Konos TRS.

The RRP is already lower than most of the other shoes I test, clocking in at $100, but with Black Friday, they're even cheaper.

Prices on Amazon vary between sizes and colorways, but the lowest I've found so far is $53.08: a 47% reduction. Make sure you check out all the colorways in your size to make sure you're getting the lowest price.

Soundpeats Pop Clip - My favorite earbuds for walking are under $30

I love the Soundpeats Pop Clip Bluetooth earphones for walking for one simple reason: they're not noise-cancelling. Controversial, I know.

When I'm on a hike, I need to be aware of my surroundings. If I listen to music or take a call when out and about, I don't want to miss a car coming at me, especially when my dog is with me.

When I'm at home, listening to music recreationally, sure, I'll go for my big Sony over-ears, but they aren't always suitable for everyday wear.

The Pop Clip has physical buttons (do you miss those as much as I do) and an innovative design that gently grips your outer ear so they don't fall out.

This makes them ideal for anything where you're moving a lot: there's nothing worse than trying to do a crunch and losing your earbud in the process.

They usually retail at just under $40, but are currently reduced by 29% in the Black Friday Sales on Amazon.

Vinsguir ab wheel: get a stronger core for 44% less

I love ab wheels. They give my core a workout like no other and I'm always amazed by how quickly I see results when regularly using one.

My colleague tested this Vinsguir ab wheel, and it made it into our best ab wheel guide, with a four out of five-star rating. It's our favorite budget pick, and now it's under $20.

My colleague notes: "Not only is this ab wheel durable (it holds up to 440lb in body weight), but it’s still lightweight enough to travel well in gym bags, and is the ideal travel companion for mobile exercisers."

Pilates equipment that can boost your home workouts

(Image credit: Future / Alice Porter)

Writer Alice Porter is the biggest Pilates devotee on our team, constantly reminding the rest of us about the practice’s benefits (improved core strength, joint stability, and mobility—plus lots more, apparently).

She’s written up an entire piece on the best Black Friday Pilates deals, which would make excellent presents for fellow enthusiasts. Here are some of her top picks.

The exact walking pad one writer used to hit 8,000 steps a day

According to an expert we interviewed recently, most of us should be aiming to hit between 8,000 and 10,000 steps a day, depending on our age.

If you find it hard to reach this goal because of your job, having a walking pad underneath your at-home desk may help. One of our writers found that adding one to her home office set-up helped her hit 8,000 steps a day.

The exact model she used, the C2 walking pad, is currently discounted by $100 on Amazon—this is a fairly frequent discount for the under-desk treadmill, but we haven’t ever seen it dip any lower than this.

The most important thing you can buy if you want to get fit in 2026

Fitness editor Ruth Gaukrodger here, with some simple buying advice.

Several trainers I've interviewed have said the most important thing to buy if you want to start working out is an exercise mat.

Yes, it will cushion your joints when you're doing floor-based moves—but more importantly, it will help you mentally prepare for exercise.

Lay it out and you've immediately set up a space that you can think of as your home gym.

I've picked out two options below: our top-ranked yoga mat, which instructor Yanar Alkayat commended for its excellent grip and padding, along with a much cheaper, rugged option from the trusted brand TRX.

Home workout kit curated by Chris Hemsworth

Chris Hemsworth makes no secret of the fact that he likes a workout. The actor even launched his own home fitness brand back in in 2019: Centr.

It features workouts, meal plans and mindfulness exercises—but you can also get Centr fitness equipment, too.

Right now, Walmart is selling an older package of Centr home workout kit at about half of its retail price, for $34.77 instead of $69.99.

I like this bundle because it packages up two different types of resistance bands: fabric bands and tube bands.

You can combine the tube bands together to make different resistance levels, while the fabric bands are useful for making moves like squats and kickbacks feel a little bit harder.

If I had just a bit more more space this is the one thing I'd buy for Black Friday

Adjustable dumbbells and resistance bands are great, but if I'm being honest, I'd love to buy a full set of hex dumbbells for my home.

I long for the convenience of just reaching over and grabbing the weight I need—but sadly I live in a small two-bed flat, with a curious toddler who would treat the weights like a challenging climbing frame. Anything I buy has to be small enough to squeeze into a cupboard.

If you have space, I think the 210lb option below is brilliant, which has been discounted by $70.

It's from CAP Barbell, a trusted brand, and comes with five pairs of dumbbells in weight options ranging from 5-25lb.

A trainer's favorite full-body training tool

Jennifer Rizzuto is a trainer and regular contributor to Fit&Well.

Back in April, she wrote about the one piece of equipment she recommends for people new to fitness: a suspension trainer.

These are essentially just large straps with handles at the end, which you can hook over doorways, thick branches on a tree or other sturdy structures.

You can do moves like elevated push-ups, inverted rows, and supported squats with this clever workout tool.

The best-known producer of the equipment is probably TRX—but you can get cheaper variants, too. Below are some quick picks from Amazon, which still have discounts applied.
