Black Friday “week” is upon us, but technically the big day is only set to happen on the 28th of November.
While we’re expecting most of the biggest discounts to happen then, most stores, including Amazon, are already running Black Friday sales and there are a wealth of solid discounts already doing the rounds as a result.
The only downside is that, with the sale going on so long this year and many retailers not always being above board with what they’re pitching as a deal, you may struggle to know what to buy and when – especially in the world of hi-fi and home cinema where prices are massively fluctuating at a near hourly rate.
Here to help, What Hi-Fi?’s crack squad of AV experts is on hand updating this live hub with all the latest and greatest savings they’ve spotted.
Every deal, unless explicitly stated otherwise, is on a product we’ve fully reviewed, price checked to make sure it hasn’t been cheaper in the not too distant past.
On the off chance you don’t find what you’re looking for, or want more information on one of the products mentioned here, jump over to our Black Friday 2025 Live Q&A, where you can chat directly with our experts throughout the event.
With that out of the way, happy deal hunting!

Which stores are running Black Friday sales?
The answer here is, there are probably more stores participating in the event than there are not. Amazon is the main player in most regions, but other megastores on both sides of the pond are running audio deals.
Numerous specialist shops have also started getting in on the action, though we tend to find the premium end of the hi-fi market still doesn’t bother. Which is why you are very unlikely to see significant discounts on any Temptation, or upper end normal products, even during Black Friday.
That said, we’ll still be keeping an eye for any good deals, in both the upper and lower end of the market. If you’re curious which ones we tend to keep a close eye on we’ve created a quicklist of some of the top ones in both the UK and US, with a heads up on some of the best deals we’ve spotted on them below.

Meet the team running this page
Our picks of some great early deals
Though we’re still a week away from the traditional “actual” Black Friday, which happens on the final Friday of November, we’ve already spotted a number of great deals to be had on everything from Award-winning speakers to five-star systems. He’s our current picks of the best that are live right now.
Some advice from the team

If you’re shopping for hi-fi this Black Friday, there are several pitfalls to avoid. These range from making sure you’re getting something that matches well with your other, existing hardware, if you’re adding or upgrading part of your rack, to basic things like checking its price history.
On the latter we’ve seen numerous examples of stores artificially raising the price on a product in the run up to Black Friday in a bid to make the discount look impressive, when in reality, it was cheaper earlier in the year.
Which is why, for bargain hunters who can’t find what they’re looking for here, we penned a Black Friday 2025 Survival Guide earlier in November, offering our veteran team’s top tips for shoppers looking to get a decent deal over the event.
A five-star entry level turntable for newbie vinyl fans

If you're on the hunt for a decent entry level turntable, we would normally recommend the Award-winning. Pro-Ject Primary E. We still do, but the the five-star Sony PS-LX310BT currently has a solid Black Friday discount that brings the price down even cheaper, making it a decent alternative for buyers on a strict budget.
You can buy the five-star Bluetooth turntable for just £179 at Amazon. Nearly £50 less than the Pro-Ject.
For your money you'll be treated to a reliable workhorse of a turntable capable of delivering a fun and engaging sound. On top of that, while it's not quite perfect, we know first hand you won't find a better budget Bluetooth turntable for less. We've tried and failed to find one for years...
Our favourite Amazon speaker drops in price for Black Friday

While the recently-reviewed Echo Dot Max is also discounted by around £10, it's not the Amazon smart speaker we'd pick this Black Friday.
Instead, we would highly recommend picking the older, smaller but sonically superior Echo Dot (5th Gen) which, at just £30 at Amazon, is incredibly easy for us to recommend. It's clever, compact and nicely made, with a sound that showcases an impressive crispness alongside a natural sense of musical energy.
Save £700 on a terrific five-star Naim streamer

While Black Friday may be about finding the cheapest prices, over in the hi-fi world, you can find some hefty savings on hefty products that make a premium-priced product that bit more appealing – such as this incredible £700 discount on the five-star Naim ND5 XS2.
If you're after a top-class streamer and have the partnering system to match, this is a no-nonsense, all-performance network player that impressed us greatly. We said in our review that "there is nothing sonically for which we can fault its performance.” It has a richly detailed and insightful sound, with deep and taut bass performance and a great ability to handle complex rhythms.
Bargains on five-star headphones

We know that headphones fly off the online shelves during the Black Friday sales, and if you've been saving up all year to bag a bargain, you're in luck.
Sony has a raft of five-star headphones and wireless that are enjoying some great discounts, as are Apple, Bose, Bowers & Wilkins and Sennheiser, while there are some great deals on wired headphones, too.
Here's a selection of our favourite headphone deals right now:
Q Acoustics' venerable 3050i towers are still a great buy

If you're in the market for five-star floorstanding speakers without a huge price tag this Black Friday, you're in the right place.
The five-star Q Acoustics 3050i are £399 at Peter Tyson, an incredible £350 saving on a pair of speakers that, at full price, would generally set you back around £750.
Yes, they've been around for a while now, but that doesn't mean they're not a great buy. We awarded the 3050i five stars for being punchy, musical and yet surprisingly subtle, with large-scale presentation alongside a luxuriously smart finish.
Looking for some home cinema deals? These are our TV and AV editor's top picks right now
With day one of Amazon's official sale over halfway through, we're finally seeing some decent deals on home cinema hardware.
Highlights include sizable discounts on Amazon's own TVs, a sizable drop one price of one of our recommended portable projectors and more!
"The best TV for most people" is over £800 for Black Friday

The LG C5 is a fantastic TV. It'll please cinephiles and gamers alike thanks to its superb picture quality and formidable specs, making it comfortably "the best TV for most people".
We've been following the price of this TV closely on the run-up to Black Friday, as we had a feeling that huge discounts would be coming. Luckily for us, our patience paid off, as the 55-inch LG C5 can now be yours for just £1069; that's £831 less than its launch price.
We raved about the LG C5's "rich, solid and engaging picture that balances vibrancy and authenticity" and "excellent contrast and image solidity". It's a stunner for films and TV shows, and with its four full-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 sockets, it's also a top choice for gamers.
Sound is a bit of a letdown on this TV, but the saving applied covers the hugely discounted Sonos Arc Ultra (which you can also find on this page) with over £30 left over to spend on a 4K Blu-ray and plenty of snacks.
Is "proper" Black Friday today?

With retailers pushing Black Friday branded deals earlier and earlier each year, one of the most common questions we get is "when is the actual Black Friday?"
That's particularly true today when it's actually a Friday and Amazon, alongside most other retailers, have the branding front and centre on their homepages.
But, while today is part of the official event, it isn't the "actual" Black Friday, at least according to tradition. Originally, Black Friday was the last Friday of November and that remains the case now. That's why, while we are expecting a number of good deals to appear today, some of the best are likely yet to come.
Based on our experience covering the event since it grew from a phenomenon local to the US into a global sales bonanza many of the best deals still tend to pop up on the final Friday of the month.
The only risk you have by waiting is that, on occasion, some of the best products, especially OLED TVs and wireless headphones have sold out, or started suffering from limited stock by the time the actual day rolls around. Though, as we can't tell the future, it's hard to tell if that will happen this year.
Got a question?

Not sure which products to keep an eye on this Black Friday? Unsure about a specific detail about one you're tempted by? Or, keen to find out if it's the best price you'll get this year on it?
If you have any questions like the ones above, don't forget you can chat directly to our team of experts using our nifty new Black Friday Live Q&A! All you have to do is jump over to the page and pop your question in the Live Q&A tool at the bottom of the article.
From there, one of our reviewers and expert deal hunters will aim to get back to you with an answer as soon as possible!
Meet our home cinema team!
We've already introduced you to our audio and hi-fi team. But we also have a home cinema squad helping keep this deals guide up to date! Here's a brief introduction to each of them!
Your last chance to grab the five-star Wharfedale Evo 4.4?

It looks as though the race might finally have been run for the Wharfedale Evo 4.4. Stocks appear to be running low, and with newer generations of speakers coming in to replace them, we wonder if Black Friday could be your last chance to pick up a discounted pair.
You'll want to take that chance, too. We reviewed the five-star floorstanders back in 2022, and were impressed enough to award them not only five stars at their original £1199 asking price, but also a 2022 What Hi-Fi? Award as one of the class leaders at their price point.
You can snatch a pair of Wharfedale's classic speakers for £799 at Richer Sounds, taking a £400-sized chunk out of their original price. It might be your last chance to do so...
The JBL Charge 6 is at its lowest price by far

What a deal! We were hoping that the Award-winning JBL Charge 6 would drop to new lows during the Black Friday sales, but we couldn't have imagined that it would fall so far so quickly. We're still a week off the actual day of Black Friday, after all.
Originally arriving at £170, the Charge 6 is now £100 at Argos (£99.99 to be super-specific) and John Lewis making it easily the lowest it's ever been since launching earlier this year and representing a whopping £70 off. Want a Bluetooth speaker? This is the deal for you.
Save £550 on Samsung's "outstanding" 65-inch QN90F

Another great saving spotted! The 65-inch Samsung QN90F received a five-star review from us when it was in our test room, so we are thrilled to see it drop to a temptingly low price.
The Mini LED is currently available for £1349 at Peter Tyson, lopping £550 off its original price tag. The discount is automatically applied when it is added to your basket, so don't be alarmed by the cost that comes up initially. So, if you are looking for a top-notch TV to arrive before Christmas, this Samsung model is worth your consideration.
Shopping for vinyl record deals? Step right this way...

Our resident vinyl fan and hi-fi editor, Kash Kabir, has been browsing through all the vinyl record sales online, and she's hand-picked over a dozen albums – classic and new releases – that she's got on her wishlist to add to her growing record collection.
Some of these records have a Black Friday deal on and some don't, but it's an eclectic list that covers a wide array of genres, from Chappell Roan to Charles Mingus, Kneecap to Fugees, and Massive Attack to Fleetwood Mac.
Check out the full list of vinyl recommendations here: What's in my bag? I've been browsing the Black Friday vinyl deals for must-have albums to add to my record collection
The Sennheiser Ambeo Soundbar Plus is the soundbar to buy if you don't want a Sonos Arc Ultra this Black Friday

The Sennheiser Ambeo Soundbar Plus is a sensational Dolby Atmos soundbar that often gets overlooked amongst its Sony and Sonos rivals. However, it's excellent performance, solid feature set and, thanks to Black Friday, cheaper asking price makes it the soundbar to buy if you're dead set against the Sonos Arc Ultra.
We reviewed it at £1299, but Amazon is currently selling it for just £750 right now, that's a massive saving of £549. In comparison, the Sonos Arc Ultra is £799 right now, still a great deal but undoubtedly more expensive.
Thanks to its rich, crisp and spacious cinematic sound, the Ambeo Soundbar Plus puts up a worthy fight against the Sonos Arc Ultra, and even beats it when it comes to features.
The inclusion of HDMI passthrough (albeit at HDMI 2.0 speeds) is a nice touch, and Sennheiser's app is a whole lot better than Sonos' messy interface.
Best of all, you can ignore the app if you'd like as the Sennheiser Ambeo Plus comes with a remote, though you may be tempted to use the app thanks to the quick and easy automatic calibration system.
If you're avoiding Sonos at all costs, then definitely check this worthy opponent out, especially while this deal is active.
The award-winning Sony WF-C710N wireless earbuds have fallen to their lowest-ever price and not on Amazon!

The Sony WF-C710N wireless earbuds are some of the best wireless ANC buds that we've tested for under £100. They're comfortable, great-sounding and offer decent noise cancellation for their price.
We tested them at £100 and thought they were excellent. Now, thanks to this Black Friday deal at Smart Home Sounds, they're more than 25% off our testing price. At £74, that's £1 less than Amazon is selling them for too.
If you're after a bargain on some high-performing, budget earbuds, this could be the deal you need.
Two super-cheap 50-inch TV deals to choose between

You might be surprised to learn that Amazon's original Omni QLED TVs are (with the exception of the 43-inch model) really very good for the money.
The 50-inch version is the pick of the bunch and, as it's now been replaced by a new version, it's now available for a ridiculously low price of £300 at Amazon.
The launch price was £650, and the previous lowest-ever price was £360, so this is an exceptional deal for what is a really balanced and likeable TV that's easy to use and features every streaming app you're ever likely to need.
If your budget is absolutely limited to £300, you can't go wrong with the Omni QLED, but if you can stretch it just a bit, there's an even better deal available.
The 50-inch TCL C6KS is a 2025 What Hi-Fi? Awards winner, and it can now be picked up for a record-low £349 at Amazon.
The TCL is a newer and more technically advanced TV than the Amazon Omni QLED. It's brighter, has better contrast and more features, and all of this is balanced with really well-tuned picture presets.
It's well worth the extra £50 if you've got it.
An absolutely huge TV for a surprisingly small price

Fancy a huge, truly cinematic screen in your living room but don't like the idea of a projector? This deal is for you.
The five-star, What Hi-Fi? Award-winning TCL C7K was already great value at £2399, and now it can be yours for a crazy-low price of just £1899 from Richer Sounds.
A Product of the Year winner for less than £50? This Fire TV deal is piping hot...

Looking for a five-star piece of home cinema kit that doesn't break the bank this Black Friday? The Product of the Year-winning Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Generation) delivers a crisp, engaging and cinematic picture for just £40 – down from its £70 launch price.
A plug-and-play AV upgrade at this price is a sight to behold, making it a superb option for anyone who's finding that their TV's built-in apps just aren't cutting it any more.
Providing a rich, detailed and colourful image with a clear and warm sound to back it up is the Fire TV Stick 4K Max's greatest strength. Simply plug this chocolate bar-sized streamer into one of the HDMI sockets of your TV to unlock 4K HDR (including Dolby Vision and HDR10+) streaming from the likes of Netflix, Prime Video and Disney Plus.
We presumed that this streamer's price would nosedive during the annual savings events; however, it's dropped to a price even lower than the £50 figure we predicted.
If you're sick of a laggy user interface on your current TV, or perhaps your TV's software is no longer supported but you're not ready to upgrade, then this bagain streamer is the Black Friday deal for you.
Get £101 off Sonos Era 300 speakers!

In the world of wireless speakers, few can match the mighty Sonos Era 300.
Not only is this a supremely musical speaker with full Sonos smarts, but it also supports Dolby Atmos, either as a spatial audio speaker or as a wireless surround for a Sonos Arc Ultra soundbar.
And now you can get it with a massive discount of £101, taking it down to just £348 at Amazon.
The original Sonos Arc is back for Black Friday, but these soundbars make more sense...

The Sonos Arc is back for Black Friday, and while we're happy to see this legendary soundbar make a return (potentially for the last time), we unfortunately don't think you should buy it, considering there are other options out there for very similar prices.
We've highlighted alternatives from Sennheiser and Samsung, as well as the successor to the Arc, as preferable options if your budget allows.
Each of these soundbars is within touching distance of the Arc price-wise, but they either have better features, better sound, or both, meaning you should consider them if you're already thinking about the Arc.
The Arc Ultra takes everything we love about the original and tunes it to be even punchier, richer and more spacious, and bass gets a huge boost thanks to the new driver technology.
The Sennheiser Ambeo Plus is a stylish alternative with room-filling sound, a dedicated remote and HDMI passthrough, making it a bit more versatile.
And the Samsung HW-990F adds wireless surround speakers and a subwoofer for a full surround sound experience that blew us away during our testing.
Whichever model you choose, you're guaranteed to get superb cinematic sound. Each option is slightly pricier than the Arc, which is down to £719 right now, but we think they all justify the marginally greater outlay.
These B&W headphones offer style and substance at a huge discount

Black Friday is, usually speaking, the best time of year to invest in a new pair of wireless headphones, and if you want a pair that blends style with performance, then this Bowers & Wilkins deal is for you.
We raved about the PX7 S2e in our full review, citing "lovely full, lush sonic character" and "benchmark insight" as the reason we recommended them despite tough competition from the Sony WH-1000XM5 at the time.
They launched at a pricey £379 back in October 2023, but this deal at Amazon knocks that down to just £196. With that in mind, and considering that the XM5s are now technically more expensive at £200 (it's a minor difference, we admit), these headphones become even easier to recommend.
This deal is on the black versions only, but an extra £3 will score you the stylish silver or green finish if that's your style. And while these headphones look great, we're most impressed by how they sound.
When comparing these headphones to their predecessors in our full review, we had this to say: "They remain tremendously detailed for wireless headphones at this level, able to surface finer details and communicate subtle dynamic shifts to an extent that is rare for their price".
So, if you're looking for style and substance, then these B&W headphones are for you, especially if you're also on the hunt for a huge Black Friday saving.
JBL's handsome deck drops by half

If you're one of the many people looking to get in on the vinyl revival, you could do worse than saving 50 per cent on a JBL turntable.
While it's a three-star operator at its full £999 price, the JBL TT350 Classic represents far better value now that it's a paltry £499 at Peter Tyson thanks to a quite stunning saving of £500. That's half-price for a turntable that, while not perfect, has enviable qualities and a lot of appeal, especially now that it's so heavily discounted.
The year's best headphones (arguably) drop by £50

We're big fans of the flagship Sony WH-1000XM6 when we tested them earlier this year, and we know they're the exact headphones that many deal hunters will be coveting this Black Friday.
Wouldn't you know it, the stellar Award-winners have dropped from £399 to £349 at Amazon, a spicy £50 saving on the headphones we think grant the finest pound-per-sound performance you can get in the wireless space.
That said, we've seen the WH-1000XM6 fall to an even more tempting £329 before, so if you hold your horses, you could get an extra £20 off. If a bigger drop is forthcoming...
Bose's flagship buds enjoy a first-time discount

We think the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) are great. They're terrifically talented across a range of criteria, with class-leading noise cancelling and comfort boosted by notable sonic improvements on their five-star predecessors.
For Black Friday, the QC Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) are down from £299 to £270 at Argos, a saving of around £30. That's a tempting deal on a very well-rounded pair of flagship wireless earbuds that only made their debut earlier this year.
That said, you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't check out the rival Technics EAH-AZ100 as a very fine alternative. For £259 down to £210 at Amazon, they're a good deal cheaper than the Bose buds, all while offering a sound that's clearer, more detailed and more spacious.
The KEF Q Concerto Meta and LS50 Meta have both been reduced to £899 for Black Friday

We're big fans of both the KEF Q Concerto Meta and LS50 Meta standmount speakers. Thanks to some brilliant Black Friday deals, both of these five-star speakers have been reduced to the same price.
The KEF Q Concerto Meta are available for £899 at Richer Sounds, Sevenoaks, Peter Tyson and Smart Home Sounds. That's a £200 saving on speakers that look as good as they sound and they sound fantastic.
Previous What Hi-Fi? Award winners, the LS50 Meta, are £400 cheaper than their RRP, with them going for £899 at Peter Tyson. This is another excellent saving for some of the best speakers we've heard at this price.
The LS50 Meta are more compact than their Concerto cousins, but the differences between them sound wise are minor. For instance, the LS50 sound slightly more refined, while the Concerto have more low-end punch, but both still perform well in either regard.
If you're after your first set of standmount speakers or an upgrade to your existing system you can't go wrong with either and, ultimately, it comes to down to which you prefer.
The Beats Pill Bluetooth speaker drops to nearly half its RRP

The Beats Pill sounds clean and clear, while its bass is surprisingly rich for a Bluetooth speaker at this price point. It's well-protected against water and dust thanks to its IP67 rating, while a 24-hour battery life means you can listen to it for long periods without the power cutting out.
Thanks to this great Black Friday deal, it's now £89 at Amazon, a price we've not seen it at since last year. Considering our testing price was £150 and we found plenty to like, it looks especially inviting at this reduced price.
Marantz's formerly-Award-winning amp plummets in price

Winning a What Hi-Fi? Award is like being the President of the USA: just because you're not the current incumbent, doesn't mean you're no longer considered a winner. If you went to the States and met Barack Obama, you'd still have to call him "Mr. President".
That's the case with the Marantz PM6007, a former What Hi-Fi? Award-winner that comes packed with pedigree and not-inconsiderable heaps of acclaim, all for a price that's been slashed heavily in recent times.
We reviewed the PM6007 when it was £499, but as it's been around a few years, that figure has plummeted to £369 at Peter Tyson, Richer Sounds and Amazon. That's a stunning £130 saving on a presidential piece of hi-fi gear.
Two top deals recommended by our editors
Kicking off the week our hi-fi and audio editor, Kashfia Kabir, and TV and AV editor, Tom Parsons each have a top recommendation for you.
On the hi-fi side, Kash currently recommends the deal doing the rounds on the JBL TT350 Classic, which has plummeted from its £999 RRP to just £499 at Peter Tyson.
Though we gave it three-stars when reviewing it, with its performance failing to match rivals its price, at its current cost it is a very competitive piece of hardware. Which is why we’re happy to recommend the JBL at its current cost, despite its three-star rating.
Next up, we have the Samsung Q99F, which is Tom’s recommended deal for home cinema aficionados.
We recommend the Dolby Atmos soundbar system at full price, so much so that we gave it a What Hi-Fi? Product of the Year Award mere weeks ago. And its current price, which lets you grab it for £819 at Amazon, makes it an absolute steal.
Trust us, unless you’re willing to go the full, multi-speaker route with ceiling mounted units, you’ll struggle to get a better Dolby Atmos system.
The OLED TV deal to rule them all?

In the last hour or so, a further £100 has been knocked off the price of the 65-inch LG C5, taking it to a record-low £1299 at Richer Sounds.
This is the absolute best TV for most people, with superb picture quality and an exceptional feature set at an amazing price.
This is a TV that launched earlier this year for £2700, so this deal makes it better than half price.
Honestly, I don't think this deal will be beaten all through the Black Friday event. In fact, I'm not sure this TV will ever be this cheap again.
A startlingly good deal on some of our favourite-ever wired headphones

Oh my word, what a cracking deal this is.
We truly consider the Røde NTH-100 to be some of the best wired headphones we've tested in the last three or so years, and maybe some of the best value cans of this century, so our peepers are always peeled for a big price collapse.
While the NTH-100 have dropped before, it's been nothing compared to this. The current (and multiple) Award-winners are a measly £84 on Amazon down from £149, and when you consider that the last discount we saw dropped them to around £108, you'll realise just how ridiculously good this deal is. Make like Bryan Adams and run to it!
Cambridge Audio's budget duo are a great hi-fi starter pair

Proving that you don't have to shell out hundreds and thousands for good hi-fi separates, Cambridge Audio's budget stereo amplifier, the five-star AXA35, and matching budget CD player, the AXC35, are both enjoying £50 off in the Black Friday sales.
That brings both components down to £299 apiece. If you're building a hi-fi system from scratch and are happy with no-frills components that focus on the basics of playback – and are big into CDs, of course – then this pair are a harmonious blend of style and sound quality.
You'll always be there for us, Sony WF-1000XM5 deal

We love a deal on the the Sony WF-1000XM5. They're some of our favourite wireless earbuds of the last few years, and often enjoy healthy discounts that are more than a few mere pennies off the original RRP.
Currently, the five-star buds have dropped to £179 at Amazon and various other retailers courtesy of Black Friday, though we suspect that they could drop even lower as the day itself looms.
We do wonder if the XM5 will drop lower during the next few days, as £179 isn't their lowest-ever price and there could be a new pair on the way. For now, though, this is a lovely deal on a five-star set of flagship buds.
LG's pint-sized OLED TV drops to its lowest price yet, and even we're resisting the urge to buy one...

LG's smallest OLED TV, the 42-inch C5, is a shockingly good deal right now thanks to Richer Sounds slicing a staggering £600 off the asking price.
We deemed this pint-sized set to be impressively cinematic despite its compact size, and with a full range of HDMI 2.1 sockets, it's a perfect pick for gamers who plan on using their TV in a desktop configuration.
LG's dinkiest OLEDs tend to impress each year, even if there doesn't tend to be huge leaps in performance. They're practically unrivalled at this size, though Samsung is creeping in with the S90F, which now also comes in 42 inches.
We had this to say about the 42-inch LG C5 in our full review, which features a full run-down on picture and sound quality: "like its predecessors, it offers a near-flawless feature set and solid, sharp, immersive picture quality, neatly packaged in a small room-friendly frame".
If you're looking for a TV that ticks a lot of boxes without taking up a lot of space, then this Black Friday deal is for you.
