Leeds United fans have made their feelings over Ben White clear, amid reports that the defender is set to sign a new contract at Brighton.
The Whites have had two bids for their former loanee turned down, with Brighton & Hove Albion standing firm in their stance to keep hold of the highly-rated centre-back.
White played a key role in Leeds' automatic promotion to the Premier League last season and the Whites are keen to sign him permanently.
Yet his performances have meant Brighton have earmarked him for a potential first-team spot, and according to The Athletic, the Seagulls are set to reward the defender with a new long-term deal to reflect his status as one of the top young players in the division.
The Whites are said to have started identifying alternatives to the centre-back as they look to strengthen ahead of their return to the Premier League.
According to the Athletic, Manchester City defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis could well be on the list of alternatives.
The 18-year-old centre-back is yet to play in the Premier League for City but has appeared in cup competitions.
Freiburg's Robin Koch is also thought to be on Leeds' radar, but supporters took to social media to bemoan White's decision.
Some also wished the defender luck ahead of the new campaign.
With under a month until the new Premier League season starts, there is pressure on Leeds to get any deal for a centre-back done quickly.
White played such a crucial part at Elland Road last season that they are left with a lack of depth in defence until they sign up a new centre-back.
