Billy Ray Cyrus, 62, marries Firerose, 34, one year after getting engaged

Billy Ray Cyrus has married fiancée Firerose one year after getting engaged.

The Achy Breaky Heart singer, 62, said “I do” to the 34-year-old music artist on October 10.

The happy couple confirmed their newlywed status in a joint post shared to their Instagram accounts on Wednesday.

They shared three images from their big day, including one where Cyrus can be seen planting a kiss tenderly on his bride’s head as he pulls her in for an embrace.

Firerose – real name Rose Hodges – wears a long-sleeved lacy white gown, while Cyrus sports a black tuxedo with his long tresses pulled into his trademark loose braids.

“10/10/23 will always be the beautiful, joyous day that our two souls united as one in holy matrimony,” the pair wrote. “It was the most perfect, ethereal celebration of love we could have ever imagined,” they added in the accompanying caption.

“For both of us to hear the preacher say, ‘Billy Ray and Firerose Cyrus…,” they continued. “I now pronounce you husband and wife’, that was the sacred moment our new forever began. Long live love!”

The nuptials come just weeks after Cyrus’ ex-wife, Tish Cyrus, married Prison Break actor Dominic Purcell.

Cyrus and Tish’s divorce was finalised last year, bringing an end to 30 years of marriage.

They share adult children Brandi, 36, Trace, 34, Miley, 30, Braison, 29, and Noah, 23.

Cyrus is also dad to son Christopher Cody, 31, with his ex-girlfriend Kristen Luckey.
