For the first time in more than two years, Andre Roberson will suit up for the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday.
From Orlando, the club will square off against the Boston Celtics in the first of their three exhibition contests, and after participating fully in practices without issue, Roberson will be unleashed.
Also significant is the fact that Roberson will not have a minutes restriction. During the league’s suspension, the guard dubbed himself ready for action, and since then, his on-court performance has proven his words to be true.
Head coach Billy Donovan alerted reporters to the fact during his pregame availability.
The Thunder and Celtics will tip off their exhibition contest at 5:00 p.m. ET.
