Billie Eilish awkwardly ignores fan who says she idolises her during Q&A session

Billie Eilish supposedly 'ignored' a superfan who told her how much she idolised her in a live interview.

The 19-year-old singer took part in a question and answer session on Zoom, where she was seen chatting to some of her fans.

During the call, the presenter can be seen telling a fan that she can ask one more question before Billie has to go.

"It wasn’t a question but thank you, I love you so much Billie," she tells the star.

The woman waits for a few moments, along with the interviewer, for Billie to respond, but she remained silent.

After the awkward moment, the fan left and the interview moved swiftly on with the star covering her mouth, almost as if to hide her smiling.

The video was shared to TikTok by @billie.takis.duh, where it has racked up 1.5 million views and 6,300 comments.

While a few people wondered whether Billie meant to ignore the fan, others put the awkward silence down to a delay, meaning that she wouldn't have heard the fan asking the question.

One person said: "She looked so done LMFAO."

Another commented: "You can literally see her moving/breathing when she’s 'lagging.'"

"Y’all saying she lagged but it seems like she moved perfectly fine," a third wrote.

While someone else put: "The longest two seconds silence in the history of silence."

Previously, Billie sparked a debate among fans after she showed off a pair of her trainers.

On Instagram, she was asked what colour she thought the 2015 dress was.

After fans accused her of being "colourblind" for saying the dress was black and blue, she proved them wrong with an optical illusion of her own.

She explained that a few years ago, she owned a pair of Nike's Air More Uptempo, which her dad thought were pink and white, when in fact they were mint green and white.

Have a look for yourself here. What colour do the trainers look to you?
