The biggest house ever to feature on Grand Designs had its time in the spotlight last night, with viewers left stunned by a lounge so huge it could fit four fire engines.
Businessman and father-of-four Clinton Dall required a massive 13,000 square metres of materials to make his mind-blowing vision a reality and even wanted a five metre sofa in the front room.
Presenter Kevin McCloud could not believe Dall's plans for his modern bungalow, which included a 15-metre outdoor swimming pool and plenty of minimalist features. There was enough steel delivered to make 10 decent-sized homes and enough tiles to floor a small housing estate.
There's nothing cosy about this minimalist bungalow

No clutter allowed in this oh-so-modern home
The episode was the first of the Channel 4 show's fifteenth series, and certainly offered the shock factor. Dall's finished West Sussex property cost around £1.5 million and looked swanky, despite McCloud questioning whether it could ever feel more homely than "a luxury car commercial".
Impressive Grand Designs homes
If you can handle more house envy, Grand Designs is on again next Wednesday night at 9pm.
