A five-time First Division champion and two time European Cup and FA Cup winner with the Reds, the flying winger was a stalwart of Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley's domineering sides of the 60s and 70s.
His total of a whopping 857 appearances for the Reds remains a club record by some distance and, barring Harvey Elliott putting in a solid 20-year stint on the flanks for Liverpool, is unlikely to be beaten.
