Although Australia voted her into Big Brother Australia in Week One, Jane Marshall-Doherty unfortunately became the second housemate to be evicted. Now, she has a bone to pick with claims she’s “an avid and passionate Donald Trump lover”.
In a shock double eviction, Jane was brutally kicked out of the Big Brother house following two chaotic weeks of heated confrontations and fart-gate.
But what makes Jane stand out is that Australia chose her to be the 13th housemate in Week One. However, shortly after she successfully made it in, her official castmate bio sent the internet into a tizzy.
You see, while the 67-year-old retiree promoted herself as a “groovy granny”, her castmate summary mentioned she was “an avid and passionate Donald Trump lover”.

As a result, fans took to social media, admitting they regretted their vote.
Feel a bit dirty that #BBAU tricked me into voting for what I thought was a cool granny when she’s actually an avid and passionate Trump supporter. 🤢

They couldn’t have told us Jane was a trump supporter before we submitted our votes?#bbau pic.twitter.com/CFCbeHXqRS

Speaking to PEDESTRIAN.TV, Jane slammed the “passionate Donald Trump lover” claim, stating that she believes this description was “blown out of control”.
“I’m not a huge Trump [fan],” she told P.TV.
“Like, I don’t wear his shirts and his cap.”

While she’s not a huge Trumpie, she does admit that she thinks the controversial US President “can’t be that bad” as “half of America voted for the man”.
“I’m more interested in what’s going on in our country, but what he does does affect us,” Jane said.
“But really, I’m not a huge Trump supporter. I think that’s a bit blown out of control. That’s a bit blown out.”
Jane went on to say that she loves his wife, Melania Trump, and that she is “more fascinated by the family” and “how well brought up they all are”.
“He can’t be that bad. He’s got such a lovely family, I mean, and he’s such a great grandfather. Honestly, it’s more about the guy,” Jane dished.

Although Jane was brutally dumped in Week Two — not without ruffling some feathers — the groovy granny says she doesn’t have any regrets in how she acted within the house, and that she’s hoping Conor will take the $10K prize.
“I would really love Conor to win, because he really needs the money for his cause for his Tourettes,” Jane said.
