Police hit out at 'dangerous and reckless' bikers riding on West Lothian pavements

Attempts are being made to identify those who have been dangerously riding motorbikes on West Lothian pavements.

Police say they've had reports of "dangerous and reckless" driving in the Chapelton Drive area of Polbeth.

They say that those responsible are showing a total disregard for members of the public, especially young children.

Police Sergeant Iain Wells stated "The persons involved in this dangerous activity are driving on pavements and showing a total disregard to the dangers they present to the public, especially young children.

"Locals will know who are involved and I appeal to them to call the police on 101 quoting incident number 3403 19 April or anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
