BGT confirms Malakai Bayoh and Duo Odyssey for live final as judges divided

Britain's Got Talent confirmed the latest two acts who had made it into Sunday night's final of the ITV series during the latest episode.

Thursday night saw three more acts make it to the top, before two of them were confirmed as finalists.

Malakai Bayoh, Duo Odyssey and MB14 were all given the chance to compete with the six current finalists in the finale, as the public vote result was revealed by hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnely.

Only two could go through, one voted for by the public and a second chosen by judges Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli.

As the result came in, it was confirmed the two acts returning on Sunday night were Malakai and Duo Odyssey - both picked by the public as the judges took it to this vote.

Young singer Malakai was sent straight through following his incredible performance, with him topping the initial public vote.

It was then down to aerial hoop duo Duo Odyssey and musician MB14, and the judges were tasked with picking one act.

The judges ended up being split on their decision, and Bruno took it to the public vote once again - with Ant and Dec confirming Duo Odyssey were in the final.

It comes following the announcement of the other six finalists across this week, with two more announced on Wednesday night.

Ghetto Kids and Travis George were sent into the final thanks to the pubic votes, with the judges divided.

Dance group Ghetto Kids were sent straight through to the final by the initial public vote, already having impressed the judges with their performance.

This meant singer Travis had to go against guitarist Harry Churchill, with both of them in the top three.

It was up to the judges to choose who to save but after Bruno and Alesha saved Travis, Amanda and Simon opted to save Harry.

Ant and Dec had to go back to the public vote, where it was revealed Travis had been saved with Harry going home.

On Tuesday night, Viggo Venn and Olivia Lynes were the two acts revealed to have made it through.

First to be confirmed for the final was comedy and dance act Viggo, who shared his love for Hi Vis jackets - before getting everyone on their feet.

Despite not impressing everyone during the first audition, the act won the judges over this time as Alesha and Simon both confessed they loved his act.

The judges even claimed it was the best act of the night, and were thrilled when he made it through to the final based on the public vote.

Olivia then had to face fellow top three act Johns’ Boys, a choir group, as the judges were asked to choose which act to send through.

While Bruno saved Johns’ Boys, Simon, Amanda and Alesha all picked young singer Olivia which left her in tears.

Meanwhile, on Monday it was dancer Musa Motha and singer Amy Lou who won the first Britain's Got Talent semi-final of the series.

Talented dancer Musa, 27, was sent straight through to the final by viewers, so it went down to the judges' vote.

Ukelele musician and school teacher Abi Carter-Simpson and sunbed receptionist-turned-singer Amy Lou went up against one another.

As the judges struggled to decide, it went to the public vote and Amy Lou came second in the public vote.

There will be 10 acts in total in the live final on Sunday.

Britain's Got Talent's live semi-finals air all this week at 8PM on ITV1 and ITVX.
