Beyond Paradise star Jamie Bamber is married to Bad Girls and EastEnders actress

Beyond Paradise star Jamie Bamber is part of a showbiz couple, married to actress Kerry Norton, who has appeared in EastEnders and Bad Girls, to name a few shows.

Jamie made his debut in the new Death in Paradise spin-off on Friday, playing ambitious businessman Archie Hughes who returns to Shipton Abbott, meeting ex Martha Lloyd, played by Sally Bretton.

In February Kerry shared a sweet tribute to her husband of 19 years ahead of Beyond Paradise, writing: "Tonight’s the night! Beyond Paradise, BBC1 8pm in the UK. You’ll have to wait a week to meet this handsome fella though. Introducing Archie Hughes [love heart emoji]."

The couple shares 18-year-old twin girls together and often shared loved up posts on their Instagram.

In September, Jamie shared a photo of the pair glammed up in Nice, France, with Kerry wearing a long green summery dress, and Jamie in a suit jacket and cream-coloured trousers.

He wrote in the caption: " #happyanniversary to this vision in green that I’ve been trying to keep up with for nineteen years."

In July, Jamie shared he had surprised his wife with a 24-hour trip, "courtesy of" broadcaster Gabby Logan and her husband, sportsman Kenny Logan.

In October 2020, Jamie shared a loved-up selfie of the pair in front of a canal, as Kerry smiled into his neck.

He wrote: "Happy Birthday my nuzzling wife. I love you more..."

Jamie has been in a huge number of TV shows, recently in Signora Volpe, D.I Ray, and Innocent.

He has also appeared in Body of Proof and was on Law & Order: UK for 32 episodes.

Kerry is known for appearing in Bad Girls for 17 episodes and Battlestar Galactica.

She played nurse Rosa in EastEnders for four episodes, and in 1996 was, randomly in an episode of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.

Beyond Paradise sees Kris Marshall return as DI Humphrey Goodman, a role he first played in hit BBC drama Death in Paradise.

Actor Kris revealed he felt at home in the outfit belonging to the character - and even discovered some notes from previous series.

"I’d put him back in his box. I thought he was gone. I did worry about returning to him in the back of my mind.

"But, as soon as I put the brogues and jacket back on, I was like, this is the same guy who arrived in the Caribbean in 2014," he told Radio Times.

"Excited, open-minded, wanting to make the best of things. I even found some of the notes that I’d written for the previous show in his pockets," Kris went on

It comes after the show's co-creator and writer Tony Jordan revealed he's already started working on a second season.

Asked if there would be a second series, he said: "I hope so, I've started writing it! Ever the optimist, I'm not even waiting to be commissioned. We’ve got loads of stories that didn't make the cut for season 1, loads of great areas.
