Beyoncé superfan splashing out £20,000 on world tour says high cost 'worth it'

A Beyoncé superfan who is splashing out £20,000 to see the popstar on her world tour has said it is '100 per cent worth it' as she gears up for the singer's Edinburgh show in Murrayfield Stadium on Saturday.

Taylor Sinclair, from Belfast, is planning to see the R&B star a whopping 12 times on her Renaissance tour as she forks out on gig tickets, outfits and travel fans.

The 26-year-old even camped overnight in Cardiff so she could be secure a prime spot at the city's Principality Stadium on Wednesday evening.

As reported in the Mirror, Taylor plans to following Beyoncé from country to country and her itinerary includes dates in Edinburgh, London, Sunderland, Paris, Amsterdam, Cologne, Frankfurt and Barcelona.

All of the expenses combined will cost Taylor around £20,000 but she believes her favourite popstar is completely worth it.

Taylor arrived in Cardiff at 7pm on Tuesday, May 16, and slept overnight outside the Principality Stadium - queuing for around 22 hours before the gates open.

She said it was "freezing" and she was "a little bit tired now". But her spirits were kept high by other superfans who joined her in the queue as they sand and danced their way through it.

Speaking about what she was looking forward to at the Cardiff show, Taylor told Wales Online.: "Just to see any changes, new outfits, the show was amazing last time."

Taylor has visited Cardiff once before to see Beyoncé when she last visited the Welsh capital five years ago, and said the Principality Stadium was a "lovely stadium".

Beyonce kicked off her Renaissance tour in style last week while wearing a number of dazzling outfits - but some fans thought their phones were broken when she shared a video from her first performance.

The video was completely muted, without warning, and fans quickly took to the comments to share their confusion.

"But the sound?!! Not me turning my volume up," one person wrote. Another said: "I even restarted my phone because I thought I had a sound issue."

Despite having no sound, the short clip did give an insight into Beyonce's Renaissance tour.

In one part, the superstar was suspended in mid-air as she sat on top of a gigantic glistening horse and was lowered to the stage.

Another clip showed her surrounded by a group of dancers as they busted some energetic moves.

The Renaissance tour is promoting Beyonce's album of the same name, which was released last summer. It is the first album she has released since Lemonade in 2016.
