Four of Lanarkshire's clubs today learned their fixtures in this season's Betfred Cup competition.
Hamilton Accies, Airdrie, Clyde and Albion Rovers all go into the competition in the group stages, with Motherwell joining in the next round due to their Europa League exploits.
Accies have been handed a tie at League 2 side Annan Athletic on Tuesday, October 6, and they will be looking to avoid something of a cup hoodoo, with the Galabank club famously knocking Martin Canning's side out of the Scottish Cup with a 4-1 win back in January 2016.
Annan also beat Hamilton 1-0 in the Betfred Cup in July 2018.
Albion Rovers are also in Group F, and the Coatbridge side kick off their campaign on the same day at home to Ayr United, one of boss Brian Reid's former clubs.
Airdrie are in Group H and kick off their campaign at home to Alloa on Wednesday, October 7.
Clyde aren't in action in Group E until Saturday, October 10, when they host Dumbarton, managed by former boss Jim Duffy.
Hamilton follow up their opener with a home tie against Ayr United on Saturday, October 10, travel to Stranraer on Tuesday, November 10, and close their campaign at home to Albion Rovers on Saturday, November 14.
Airdrie are at Stenhousemuir on Tuesday, October 13, host Edinburgh City on Wednesday, November 11 and end their group stage at Livingston on Saturday, November 14.
Clyde visit Falkirk on Tuesday, October 13, then host Premiership side Kilmarnock on Tuesday, November 10, ad close their campaign at Dunfermline on Saturday, November 14.
Rovers visit Stranraer - also previously managed by boss Brian Reid - on Tuesday, October 13, host Annan on Tuesday, November 10, and are at Accies on Saturday, November 14.
