Best ways to farm gold in Far Far West
Canyon secret mission

A reliable gold farm method in Far Far West is to do the medallion secret mission on the Canyon map. The mission involves collecting four medallions around the map and delivering them to the secret door. Behind the door, there are multiple gold veins worth around 300 gold, depending on difficulty.
Collecting the medallions takes a little bit of time, but they’re always in the same place. With practice, you’ll be able to get the mission done more quickly. After completing the secret mission, you can continue clearing the map or kill the boss and extract to do it again.
Complete side objectives

If you want to play an easier map than Canyon, like Desert or Far West, the best way to maximize gold gains is to focus on clearing the entire map, especially side objectives. This also allows you to farm Souls and fragments to get new equipment.
Higher difficulties award marginally more gold (around five extra gold per gold vein or objective). For most runs, Normal and Hard difficulties can do just fine, with Very Hard being suitable only if you and/or your team are all well-equipped. Keep in mind that the enemy density scales with the party size.
Here are the things to look out for when doing missions to earn gold:
- Side objectives
- Gold veins
- Gold coyotes
- Marauders
- Chests
Side objectives and gold veins are the primary sources of gold. If you come across a coyote with a gold bag, kill it too. It drops gold and a fragment. Marauders aren’t a major source of gold, but it’s always worth clearing an outpost if you see one. Lastly, some chests may have gold in them instead of ammo and healing bottles.
