Nine kebab shops in Northern Ireland have been shortlisted in the eighth annual British Kebab Awards.
The finalists, who were nominated by thousands of members of the UK public, were whittled down to a list of 150 based on the number of public votes combined with hygiene and online satisfaction ratings as well as social support using the #BritishKebabAwards.
The outlets from right across the country will now battle it out to be crowned the Best Kebab House in Northern Ireland.
The winners of the awards, sponsored by Just Eat, will be announced after a final round of judging by the judges including Conservative MP Nadhim Zahawi, Labour MP Carolyn Harris, Assistant General Secretary at Unite Steve Turner, Deputy Mayor of London Joanne McCartney AM and Samson Sohail from Cobra Beer, as well as others.

The nine finalists in the Best Kebab House in Northern Ireland category are:

- Lahore Kebab House, South Street, Newtownards
- The Pharaoh, Eslington Ct, Castlereagh
- Chaska Enniskillen, Forthill St, Enniskillen
- King Kebab, Bridge St, Portadown
- The Sphinx, Stranmillis, Belfast
- La Dolce Vita, Patrick St, Newry
- Istanbul Kebab, Upper Lisburn Road, Belfast
- The Original Istanbul, Ormeau Road, Belfast
The winner will be announced at the British Kebab Awards ceremony at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London in March.
