The best jewellery advent calendars are the secret to a truly decadent December. The countdown to Christmas is no longer restricted to those with a sweet tooth – these days, everything from beauty to booze has a dedicated advent calendar.
Building your collection at a fraction of the cost, the best jewellery advent calendars boast an RRP usually far below their overall worth compared with buying the items individually. From gold- and silver-plated rings and earrings to trend-led bangles or locket necklaces, the calendars usually contain 12 pieces that add some glamour to the festive season.
This year, much-loved brands such as Joma and Estella Bartlett have returned with a sparkly line-up, while the likes of Edge of Ember and Astley Clarke have unveiled their debut advent calendars (spoiler: they don’t disappoint).
How I tested

From luxury offerings to affordable favourites, I got my hands on the best jewellery advent calendars ahead of the festive season. Opening each door before December – someone had to do it – I’ve found calendars that are worth their weight in gold. In the run-up to Christmas, I’ll be updating this guide with every new drop. When forming my guide, I considered quality, value for money, variety of products, and how easy each piece was to wear. For a detailed view of my testing criteria, scroll to the bottom of the page.

Estella Bartlett advent calendar

Best: Jewellery advent calendar overall
Worth: £376
Number of items: 12
Product highlights: Chunky shell earrings, bow charm bracelet and matching necklace, chain link necklace
Launch date: 1 October
Why we love it
- Mix of timeless and trendy pieces
- Great value for money
- Reusable box
One of the most gorgeously packaged offerings, Estella Bartlett’s bestselling advent calendar arrives in a neat white box, detailed with subtle gold stars and a red ribbon. Its petite size is much less wasteful than some of the larger boxes, and it’s sturdy enough to be repurposed as a jewellery box after Christmas, too. Opening to reveal 12 boxes, this festive offering costs less than £200 but boasts a value of nearly £400. Available in either gold or silver, the line-up is a mix of the label’s classic pieces and more contemporary designs.

There’s something for minimalists (I love the dainty heart charm bracelet, matching necklace and double hoop huggies) and maximalists (see the green beaded necklace, matching bracelet and blue bead bracelet). Highlights include the oversized shell-inspired earrings and the chunky chainlink necklace, complete with a matching bracelet.
While the bow charm necklace and stud earrings nod to the festive period, all the pieces are timeless enough for year-round wear. One of the more affordable advent calendar options, this will make a lovely gift for you or a loved one.

Astley Clarke 2025 advent calendar

Best: Fine jewellery advent calendar
Worth: £906
Number of items: 12
Product highlights: Small gold huggies, locket bracelet, beaded bracelet
Launch date: 25 September
Why we love it
- High quality fine jewellery pieces
- Timeless designs
- Sturdy box
Fine jewellery label Astley Clarke has launched its debut advent calendar. True to the brand’s identity, the box is a tastefully-designed midnight blue shade with gold sunstream detailing. Two doors open to reveal 12 drawers, each with a delicate piece of jewellery inside. Think understated gold lightning studs, a simple gold chain with an embellished star charm, or small gold huggies with tiny white sapphires.

Wearing mixed metals has never been trendier, which Astley Clarke leans into with its eclectic offering. The silver chain necklace with a mixed metal locket charm and matching hoop earrings create a statement jewellery look.
It’s not all minimalist – there’s a colourful beaded bracelet to liven up a simple outfit and a blue rope bracelet that adds intrigue to an arm stack. Lots of the pieces can be mixed and matched, like the heart charm that can be clipped onto bracelets or necklaces.
The calendar is effectively a capsule jewellery collection, with plenty of everyday staples like the gold chain choker necklace and white sapphire stud earrings, as well as the crystal huggies that match the star necklace. All the pieces have a classic feel – see the locket bracelet with sapphire embellishment. Costing £398 but worth nearly £1000, the calendar is perfect for minimalist jewellery lovers.

Joma 12 days of sparkle advent calendar

Best: Jewellery advent calendar for teenagers
Worth: £300
Number of items: 12
Product highlights: Heart charm necklace, chunky twisted ring, chunky small hoops
Launch date: 10 September
Why we love it
- Crowd-pleasing selection of pieces
- Good price
- Reusable box
Joma’s 12-day advent calendar offers a glamorous countdown that’s packed with a choice of sterling silver or gold pieces. On sale for £179, the contents inside boast an overall value of £300. Packaged in a durable cream box that can be reused as a trinkets tray (complete with leather straps for earrings), the numbered boxes reveal everything from star-adorned bracelets to heart charm necklaces, sparkly stud earrings, adjustable rings and glittery small hoops.

Containing simple, everyday pieces as well as festive-themed designs that will serve as party-ready styles after the Christmas period is over, this calendar is an affordable option.
My favourite pieces are the chunky twisted ring, for everyday stacking; the matching chunky small hoops and the heart necklace that features a delicately twisted chain. Some of the pieces feel a little young, like the star bracelet and heart necklace, but other styles appeal to an older audience, like the gemstone necklace and the chunky small hoops. It could be a perfect Christmas countdown for both mothers and their daughters.

Bohomoon 2025 advent calendar

Best: Jewellery advent calendar for statement pieces
Worth: £350
Number of items: 12
Product highlights: Gold bangle, everyday rings, hoop earrings
Launch date: 10 October
Why we love it
- Timeless and trending pieces
- Good price
- Statement styles
- Reusable box
Worth up to £350 but costing £149.99, Bohomoon’s 12-day jewellery advent calendar is back for 2025. Available in both silver and gold finishes, the trinkets are packaged in a reusable pink jewellery box – complete with a vanity mirror – for year-round use.

The pieces inside are an eclectic mix of statement pieces and everyday styles. A pair of sculptural gold hoops, a sparkly tennis bracelet and two gold bangles make an impact, while Bottega-inspired mini dome studs, a delicate birthstone necklace, and an adjustable gold ring complement a more minimalist look.
The stainless steel pieces are durable with an arresting gold finish, and the brand claims its pieces are tarnish-free and waterproof, too. If you love trend-led jewellery, Bohomoon’s advent calendar is an affordable delight.

Scream Pretty advent calendar

Best: Personalised jewellery advent calendar
Worth: £415
Number of items: 12
Product highlights: Chunky mixed metal hoops, sapphire hops, lightning bolt studs
Launch date: 1 October
Why we love it
- Bespoke selection
Take note
- Box is flimsy
Scream Pretty’s 12-day offering is a jewellery-lover's dream when it comes to ear stacks. The label has shaken up the jewellery advent calendar formula for 2025 by allowing you to personalise your countdown. From gold and silver to mixed metal styles, you can choose from 65 pieces to create a bespoke calendar. This approach makes it perfect for gifting, too.

Costing £225 but with a value that exceeds £400, the calendar I sampled spanned statement studs (think lightning bolts and sparkly crescent moons), hoops, helix studs, cuffs and more. Highlights included a pair of delicate gold hoops with lightning charms, a chunky mixed metal hoop and a beautiful green sapphire hoop. My only gripe is the flimsy box it comes in – considering the price, it would be nice to have a reusable container.

Edge of Ember 12 day jewellery advent calendar

Best: Jewellery advent calendar for charms
Worth: £685
Number of items: 12
Product highlights: Pearl and sapphire charm, chunky ball chain necklace
Launch date: 17 October, waiting list open now
Why we love it
- Sturdy, long-lasting jewellery box and reusable pouches
- Everyday pieces like hoops and chain necklaces
- High-quality gold plating
Take note
- No numbered pouches/boxes for a traditional countdown
Fine jewellery brand Edge of Ember counts the likes of Meghan Markle and Claudia Winkleman among its devotees. Now, it’s debuting into the advent calendar space with its 12-day offering, available in gold and silver.
It looks very different to other calendars on the market, with each piece stowed away in a sturdy storage box. While the green finish nods to the festive period, it’s a neutral design that can be reused long after Christmas.
Again, unlike other calendars, there are no numbered boxes – just reusable pouches for each piece that you can open each day in December. Some might not like the lack of a “classic” advent calendar feel, but others will appreciate the evergreen approach.

There are 12 pieces inside the calendar, and all have everyday appeal. Designed for mixing and matching day-to-day, there are four charms (including a statement pearl and bar design with two green sapphires) that can be attached to either of the two delicate necklaces (a flat lay style and a ball chain) or the matching ball chain bracelet.
Alternatively, you can attach the charms to either the statement chunky ball chain necklace or the matching bracelet. Completing your full jewellery look, there are a pair of white topaz studs and a ball chain ear cuff – then swap to the square gold hoops for an evening look. Though the pieces might at first seem simple, the styling versatility they offer adds to their value.

Grove & Vae 12 days of Christmas jewellery advent calendar

Best: Mixed-metal jewellery advent calendar
Worth: £609
Number of items: 12
Product highlights: Large gold hoops, textured coin earrings, twisted ring and gold rope chain necklace
Launch date: Available now
Why we love it
- Impressive variety
- Well-crafted gold plated and sterling silver designs
- Sturdy, reusable box
Take note
- The box and jewellery pieces aren't festive themed
Much-loved for its trend-led jewellery at affordable prices, Grove & Vae has returned with another advent calendar for 2025. Similar to last year, the jewellery is packaged in a green box with a maximalist marble-effect finish. The sturdy, durable design is intended for year-round use (the drawers can be reversed to hide the numbers).
It contains 12 pieces, including necklaces, earrings and rings, with a mixture of gold- and silver-plated pieces inside. There isn’t an overtly festive feel to any of the pieces, or the box itself, which may divide the opinion of jewellery fans. But I appreciated this as it adds to the wearability.

Catering to every taste, there are statement designs such as a pair of large gold hoops with black onyx detailing, a twisted gold ring and textured coin stud earrings with contrasting marbled tones. But there are also simple styles inside for day-to-day wear, including a delicate gold chain necklace and two small pairs of huggies – one sterling silver with a lighting charm, the other gold with a gemstone charm.
Most advent calendars tend to neglect rings, but Grove & Vae’s calendar has two: a chunky twisted gold ring and an adjustable open pave design. Helping you mix and match your look day-to-day, there are two charms (my favourite is the four-leaf clover) that hook onto either of the necklaces or the mini bracelet.
Stylish and well-crafted, any of the pieces in the calendar would also make lovely gifts. I love the variety of Grove & Vae’s line-up – there really is something for everyone, from maximalists to minimalists.

What are the best jewellery advent calendars?
Brimming with timeless and stylish pieces that you’ll wear for years to come, Estella Bartlett’s advent calendar is a dream for jewellery lovers. Sitting at the mid-range point of the market, it’s an investment gift for yourself or another, and will be enjoyed long after the Christmas period. Astley Clarke’s debut advent calendar also doesn’t disappoint with its beautiful fine jewellery pieces and personalised lockets. For something more affordable, Joma’s crowd-pleasing calendar has plenty for both mothers and daughters to delight in.
