Calcium is one of the coolest and best-looking characters in Megabonk, one that you will unlock after killing 1,000 skeletons. Calcium is one of the fastest characters in the game, and he can either use that speed to his advantage or to find an equally quick demise.

Calcium requires more skill to play than the starter characters. Still, if played correctly, Calcium is one of the best and definitely most fun characters.
Calcium's passive is Speed Demon, which means this character is at its best when using its massive speed advantage to destroy its enemies. This passive grants Calcium extra movement speed, which is incredibly useful, but this bonus gets halved when Calcium takes damage. On top of that, to entice players to make Calcium go as fast as possible, the passive also scales its damage with movement speed. Calcium players should base their entire build around getting speed buffs.
Calcium begins with Bone as its weapon, which is already one of its top picks. Other excellent weapon picks are Flamewalker and Bananarang, for their range. When those are unavailable, look for ranged options, as Calcium needs to keep skating around, dealing damage from afar to avoid getting hit at all costs. All long-ranged options will become even better when paired with the Quantity, Projectile Speed, and Damage tomes, to ensure Calcium's projectiles are as quick and powerful as they can be.
Regarding Megabonk items, anything that adds velocity is a good pick. Turbo Socks, which grant a huge speed boost, and Turbo Skates, which raise Calcium's speed to damage scaling, are the top picks. Phantom Shroud, Coward's Cloak, and Clover are also great picks, but anything that grants Calcium extra speed is good.
Calcium is supremely fun to play, but he's at his best when in an absolute glass cannon(ball) state, one that greatly benefits from not getting hit at all, so that he gets to maintain his speed and damage bonuses.
