YOU could enjoy your own celebration of Bentley’s centenary by snapping up this unique Arnage R originally owned by Princess Anne.
Boasting several special royal features, the 2003 model from the luxury British marque is expected to fetch between £20,000 and £24,000 at H&H Classics’ online auction on October 2.
Bespoke features include blue flashing lights concealed behind the grille for use in convoy (although activating them on public roads would be illegal) and extra-supple Sandstone leather upholstery to cosset the Royal Family.

And as a nod to its first owner, the winged B badges on the saloon’s radiator shell and boot lid carry pink enamel centres.
Princess Anne kept the Arnage R until 2006, with the vehicle covering about 10,000 miles during her ownership. It has only been driven a further 35,000 miles since then and has been fully serviced on a regular basis.

With a 0-60mph time of 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 155mph, the Arnage R combined performance and luxury that few rivals could match, although only 373 right-hand drive models were produced.
H&H Classics’ Damian Jones said: “The Arnage was the last of the Crewe-engineered, old-school Bentleys and good examples are increasingly sought after by enthusiasts. Buying this model would be a great way to celebrate the marque’s big birthday.”
