Bengaluru: Free ride for students

BENGALURU: With schools set to reopen for all classes from grades 1 upwards from Monday, Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) will allow students of classes 1 to 10, PUC, ITI, diploma, degree, master degree, professional, technical and medical and evening college besides PhD pupils to travel in ordinary services from their residence to school/college for free.

Students must produce the current year school/ college fee paid receipt or school/college identity card up to November 30, BMTC said in a release.
