Bengaluru boy secures 100 percentile in JEE Mains 1

BENGALURU: Boya Haren Sathvik from Narayana Olympiad School, Vidyaranyapura, secured 100 percentile in JEE Mains 2022 session-1, which was conducted by National Testing Agency in June. The exam was conducted at 588 centres with 8,72,432 registered candidates.

NTA released the scores on Sunday. Boya, a native of Hindupur, Andhra Pradesh, said he will take session-2 as well so that he can prepare for the competitive exam better. His father is a physical education director and his mother, a biology teacher in his hometown.

He wishes to pursue computer science engineering at IIT-Bombay. "Even though I had to attend online classes for a year because of the pandemic, the backlogs were easily covered in the next year," he said.

Boya secured 95% in term-1 of his CBSE class 12 exam.
