Bengals upset has sent Steelers into a tailspin

The Cincinnati Bengals could have been a tune-up game for the Pittsburgh Steelers as the AFC North leaders prepped for the playoffs.

But the Bengals hit the Steelers in the mouth early on Monday night en route to an upset — and the Steelers are still dealing with the repercussions.

Vonn Bell made Steelers wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster a viral meme after rocking him and causing a fumble not long after JuJu had danced on Cincinnati’s logo at midfield before the game.

The morning after the game, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said he’d have a conversation with JuJu about the dancing on opponent’s logos.

Not long after that, JuJu publicly gave up on the dancing.

How bad are things for the Steelers after losing three in a row? Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger had to call a players-only meeting to iron things out.

Call it a great story for the 14.5-point underdogs who had been repeatedly pushed around in this rivalry for years. If things get worse for the Steelers, the Bengals can certainly take credit.

And in the process, Zac Taylor might have just saved his job while knocking another franchise entirely off balance at the same time.
