Not done with intriguing announcements just yet this week, the Cincinnati Bengals finally released the numbers all of the team’s new high-profile free agents will wear in 2021.
Chief among them is big-money edge defender Trey Hendrickson, who will wear No. 91. Corner Mike Hilton will wear 21 to Chidobe Awuzie’s No. 22 and tackle Riley Reiff will don No. 71.
The announcement of the jersey numbers comes on the heels of the Bengals unveiling their redesigned jerseys. That announcement prominently featured Joe Burrow’s scarred knee as a center of attention.
Notably, No. 1 for Ja’Marr Chase (provided the NFL changes its rules to allow single digits for wideouts) and No. 58 for Penei Sewell remain available.
