Bengals interview Seahawks OL coach Andy Dickerson for offensive coordinator

The Cincinnati Bengals didn’t waste much time looking outside the building for a possible Brian Callahan replacement after the offensive coordinator left to become the head coach of the Tennessee Titans.

According to Michael Silver of the San Francisco Chronicle, the Bengals interviewed Seahawks offensive line coach Andy Dickerson for the position on Tuesday.

Dickerson spent a few years in Cleveland helping coach both sides of the ball in 2009 and bounced around a few other offensive spots — including a stint with the Rams and Zac Taylor. He’s most recently served as the line coach and run game coordinator for the Seahawks, crafting a strong resume along the way.

While the Bengals project to promote quarterbacks coach Dan Pitcher to fill the void left by Callahan’s departure, he has three offensive coordinator interviews lined up with other teams.
