Bengals defenders don’t sound too worried about extended DC search

From the outside, the fact that the Cincinnati Bengals are taking a long time to nail down a defensive coordinator seems like a bad development.

Just don’t tell the players.

According to Fox 19’s Jeremy Rauch, at least one veteran doesn’t mind the wait:

Veterans tend to set the tone for the entire locker room and will play a key role in steering things in the right direction for a team now led by one of the NFL’s youngest coaches, so it’s interesting to see a player take this stance right now.

As for the latest development in the search, it seems Zac Taylor has shifted his search to New York Giants as a defensive backs Lou Anarumo, who will reportedly interview Thursday.

No matter who it ends up being, his approach and fit will always be more important with players than how long it took to get him in the door.
