Bengals bolster both sides of ball in two-round mock draft

After free agency, it is more evident than ever what the Cincinnati Bengals could target in the 2023 NFL draft at the end of the month.

In a mock draft on Draft Wire from Jeff Risdon, the Bengals drafted DT Adetomiwa Adebawore from Northwestern with their first-round pick and UCLA RB Zach Charbonnet with the 60th pick.

Adebawore is 6’2”, 282 pounds and would be an explosive player on the line with great speed to get to the quarterback from the inside.

In his final season at Northwestern, Adebawore tallied five sacks, two forced fumbles and 38 total tackles.

Charbonnet, 6’0” and 214 pounds, transferred from Michigan to UCLA and was able to get over the 1,000 yards rushing mark in both of his seasons as a Bruin.

The Bengals RB position is up in the air, still without a replacement for Samaje Perine, who will be playing in Denver next year and Charbonnet could fill that hole.
