Ben Shephard accuses Dancing on Ice star Faye Brookes of 'breaking' partner

Ben Shephard has accused Dancing on Ice finalist Faye Brookes of 'breaking' her partner, leaving her in shock.

Faye is one of just three stars left on the ITV show going into Sunday's final but the series hasn't been all plain sailing for her by any means.

After wowing the judges in week 1 alongside pro partner Hamish Gaman, the former Coronation Street star became the subject of what viewers deemed ' harsh' scores and comments from the judges, before Hamish had to quit the show due to a bizarre injury involving a sock and his ice skates.

Matt Evers, who had been partnering Denise Van Outen, before she withdrew due to injury, stepped in to be Faye's new partner and it's a partnership that has now taken them all the way to the finale with a great shot at winning.

Faye and Matt appeared alongside fellow Dancing on Ice finalist Colin Jackson and his partner on Friday's Good Morning Britain when Ben said to Faye: "Of all the things that have happened, you have actually broken a partner!

"That very rarely happens; the celebrities usually break but you broke a partner!"

A shocked Faye gasped: "I mean!"

Matt jumped into say: "His sock broke him," as Faye added: "That was off the ice. I don't think I had a dab hand in that.

"But to know that pros are getting injured you can see how dangerous the sport is.

"We have to be so careful, making sure we take care of ourselves and also know our pros are doing the best they can to take care of themselves."
