Ben Foden's wife shares heartbreaking miscarriage

Jackie Smith Foden hit back at comments about her appearance by saying she had suffered a miscarriage.

After sharing a photo of herself and her husband, rugby star Ben Foden, on Instagram Jackie, 37, was met with vicious comments about her appearance. The anonymous user attacked her looks and also mentioned Ben's past affair when he was married to The Saturdays star, Una Healey.

Sharing a screenshot of the comment to her story, Jackie said: "I was pregnant for a while so I haven't had Botox in a while, just had a miscarriage last week, and my two-year-old has sleep regression so I haven't slept in a million years. I apologise if my old haggard appearance bothers you.

"I noticed you don’t have any photos of yourself though… but you’re probably just too ridiculously good looking for people to even have the privilege of witnessing.’"

The comment marks the first time either she or Ben publicly mentioned they were expecting a child together. Though they tragically lost the child, they already share a two-year daughter together named Farrah together.

Ben also shares daughter Aoife, 10, and son Tadhg, seven, with former The Saturdays singer Una Healy, who he divorced in 2018.

A year and a half after his marriage to Una broke down, Ben married Jackie in January 2020 just two days after his divorced was finalised.
