Beltane dinner experience - Have a four-course meal as you watch the fire festival

The spectacular Beltane fire festival is approaching in a few weeks' time, and there's a new place to enjoy the May Day celebration in style.

The Lookout at Gardner's Cottage, which opened on Calton Hill in December, is offering a "Beltane dinner experience" - the first time such an option has been available.

For £50 per person you'll get a four-course meal with some of the most breathtaking views of the city.

The restaurant is partially suspended over Calton Hill’s northwest slope, allowing views out to the Firth of Forth.

The event also provides you with a ticket to the fire festival, which will be making its way around the hill right outside the retaurant.

The Lookout say: "Experience all the revelry of the Beltane Fire Festival and enjoy a dining experience with a difference.
