If you're at a lose end today then it's the perfect occasion to wrap up warm and get outside as a mainly dry day is in store across Northern Ireland.

According to the Met Office, Sunday will be a 'brighter and mainly dry day with some sunshine and just a few light snow flurries.'

It will be a cold day though with lows of 3 °C so be sure to grab a few extra layers if you are heading out.

The cold snap is set to continue tonight and in to the week ahead, with a dry night expected for most, with the possibility of a wintry showers later tonight in the east.

Tonight's temperature is set to drop to -1 so you'll need that extra blanket too!

As for the week ahead, Monday will again be a 'bright mainly dry day with sunny spells. There may be a few light wintry showers, most likely over Antrim and Down. A cold easterly wind. Maximum temperature 2 °C.'
