Belfast weather forecast for Friday to be bright and breezy

The Met Office say it should be bright and breezy with some scattered showers today (Friday).

According to it's weather forecast for November 13, we are set for sunny intervals and scattered showers. These showers will be "mostly in the west and over high ground, with a few heavy ones".

There will be occasionally "strong and gusty" southwest winds, with a maximum temperature of 11 C.

For Friday night, the forecaster said: "Showers fading away then some clear spells but cloud and outbreaks of rain spreading from southwest, with heavy rain at times from the early hours. Strong southerly winds. Minimum temperature 8 C."

As we come into the weekend on Saturday, it's set to be cloudy with rain or showers, some heavy, especially across southern counties, "but perhaps some brightness in north".

The Met Office say there will be strong south or southeast winds, gales on coasts but winds turning southwest later.

The maximum temperature predicted is 10 C.

There will be some rain on Sunday, but a drier and brighter afternoon with less wind is expected.

It's also set to be a dry and bright Monday morning, becoming a wet and windy in afternoon.
