Belfast weather forecast for a cloudy Thursday

The Met Office says on Thursday, it will start off with a good deal of dry and sunny weather.

According to the weather forecast for December 17, this is aside from the odd shower at first.

The forecaster added: "But turning increasingly cloudy into the afternoon, with rain following behind. Maximum temperature 11 C."

Tonight, "the cloud and rain will clear to the east by late evening, leaving clear spells behind through much of the night but clouding over by dawn". There will be a minimum temperature of 7 C.

The Met Office said it will be cloudy on Friday with outbreaks of rain at times during the morning, turning more persistent as we come into the afternoon.

It's predicted that it will be dry and clear by the evening time, with a maximum temperature of around 11 C.

And the outlook for Saturday to Monday shows we should again expect some more rain.

There will be a mix of sunny spells and scattered blustery showers throughout the weekend.

The forecaster then predicts more persistent rain arriving from the southwest on Monday - so be prepared!
