Belfast Coastguard has issued a warning about using 'bargain inflatables' in the sea after saving a few lives over the weekend.
With Summer on its way, the reminder could not have come at a better time.
They are urging parents not to put their children in danger by letting them use such "bargain wind catchers" at the beach, as the situation can quickly go from bad to worse.

A spokesperson said: "After a few thankfully successful jobs/saves around our coast this weekend, this is a timely reminder as we start entering beach going weather of just how dangerous all things inflatable can be.

"These things are not recommended to be used at the beach at anytime despite what some manufacturers/sellers state.
"Please don't put yourself or your children in danger using these "bargain" wind catchers at the beach as things can escalate quickly.
"Enjoy the beach, be safe and if you find yourself or see others in trouble on the coast, dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard."
