Beckhams fear Brooklyn has 'quit the family' after shock snub from vow renewal with Nicola Peltz

David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly concerned that their eldest son, Brooklyn, has “quit the family” after they were noticeably absent from his recent vow renewal ceremony with wife Nicola Peltz.

Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, marked three years of marriage by exchanging vows once again, this time sharing a series of romantic photographs from the occasion on Instagram.

The actress chose to honour her mother, Claudia, for the occasion by repurposing the dress she wore on her wedding day in 1985 while Brooklyn donned a classic black tuxedo.

However, eagle-eyed fans quickly spotted what they saw as a significant snub: not only were the Beckhams missing from the celebrations, but Nicola’s father, billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz, officiated the ceremony.

In the final image of the gallery, the couple can be seen facing each other as Nelson reads from a card, leading the intimate service.

A source told The Sun: “This was the final kick in the teeth for David and Victoria. Seeing Nelson having such a pivotal role at the ceremony was heartbreaking for David especially. Not one member of the 30-plus extended family knew about the wedding, or were invited.

“His grandparents are devastated too as Brooklyn has always been so close to them.”

The insider added: “It feels cruel and spiteful. This is no longer a game. It has gone beyond all that. This is a family who feel they have lost their precious boy – and see no way back.

“Honestly, they are now questioning why he even wants to keep the ‘Beckham’ surname – will he revert to Peltz? August 2nd 2025 – is this the day Brooklyn formally declared himself no longer a part of the Beckham family? It certainly feels like it.”

After sharing photos from their vow renewal, their respective social media profiles were flooded with comments, “What about Beckham family?” and “Where is his family?” while other fans praised Brooklyn for what they see as him “putting [his] wife first”.

Brooklyn detailed their ceremony to People and shared that his vows were “much longer” than those on his wedding day.

He told the outlet: “To be honest, I could renew my vows every single day with her. I think the most important thing that someone can do is find that person that they’re going to spend the rest of their life with.

“It definitely shapes you as a person. Yeah, it was really, really cute. It was really fun”.

It has been previously reported that Brooklyn has requested “no contact” with his family.

Given that none of the Beckham clan have publicly addressed the wedding vow renewal, or attended the event itself, it seems his parents and siblings have obliged.

The photos comes after Victoria shared a heartwarming video of son Cruz and husband David performing a classic Frank Sinatra hit while relaxing on their private yacht in Saint-Tropez, France.

The fashion designer, 51, posted the clip on TikTok over the weekend, showing youngest son Cruz, 20, strumming his guitar and singing Sinatra’s Somethin’ Stupid.

The Standard has contacted Brooklyn and David Beckham’s reps for comment.
