Beat The Chasers star Anne Hegerty, 61, had viewers spitting out their drinks in shock after her incredibly rude joke.
Host Bradley Walsh had been chatting to contestant Joel, a student who played American football.
When Bradley asked Joel what position he played, he said he was a "wide receiver".
After sharing a giggle over the fact that Bradley was clueless about American football, Bradley then addressed Anne, otherwise known as The Governess, to begin her round of questions.

Anne quipped: "I've been described as a wide receiver."
The audience burst into hysterics as shocked Bradley and Joe gasped in surprise at the filthy gag.
But Anne wasn't finished - she then added: "And previously I've been called a tight end."

The studio audience and viewers alike could barely contain themselves after the astonishing comment from Anne.
One viewer tweeted: "Anne Hegerty saying “I’ve previously been known as a wide receiver” just changed my LIFE #BeatTheChasers ".
“I’ve been described as a wide receiver” - @anne_hegerty Possibly the best sentence ever said on British TV " added another.

"I bloody love @anne_hegerty - "I've been described as a wide receiver". Quote of the new show #BeatTheChasers She is brilliant! Funny, down to earth and very intelligent." gushed a third.
" @anne_hegerty Jesus I’ve just spat my wine out with your Wide Receiver comment on #BeatTheChasers!!!!!" chuckled a fourth.
In the new spin-off show of The Chase, just one contestant must go up against the five Chasers.
In a slight twist to The Chase's spin-off, contestants will try and defeat all five master-quizzers in one go.
The show concluded with a heartwarming win after contestant Anna took on all five of the chasers at once and ended up winning a whopping £50,000.
