Bears let 20-0 lead evaporate in Green Bay, fall to Packers, 24-23

GREEN BAY, Wis. _ Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers hit wide receiver Randall Cobb with a pass up the middle in front of diving Bears safety Eddie Jackson late in the fourth quarter Sunday night at Lambeau Field.

Cobb then raced toward the end zone, dodging outside linebacker Leonard Floyd along the way for a 75-yard touchdown and the Packers' 24-23 season-opening victory over the Bears.

Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky had a shot to answer with a winning drive, but Packers outside linebacker Nick Perry sacked Trubisky on fourth down to end the Bears' chance. The Packers' comeback from 17 points down at halftime ruined Matt Nagy's debut as an NFL head coach.

The Bears looked to be in solid command before halftime with a 17-0 lead after Rodgers left the game with a knee injury. But Rodgers returned in the second half to pull the Packers within 20-17 with 9 minutes, 10 seconds to play.

The Bears then stalled at the 14-yard line and settled for Cody Parkey's 32-yard field goal to push their lead to 23-17.
